Peter Haynes walked down to the end of our street and took this snap.

...and here's one we took ourselves.
What's the point of having a web site if you can't post some interesting links? This is a web cartoon from the US for the indie rock audience!
And here's a link to promotion for Interpol's new album "Our Love To Admire". Seems to have polarised the music press along increasingly clear lines depending on which side of the Atlantic they're based. (See also reviews on Editors' last CD for support.) Uncut says "You could categorise them as Magazine without the clumsy sonic adventurousness;
The Chameleons shorn of the endearingly shoddy rhythm section; Gang Of Four
without the hamfisted militancy. And each time you may be right. Our Love To
Admire takes some of those bands’ ramshackle sonic weaponry and converts them into clean, sleek, armour-plated missiles, handling them all the time with an assured military swagger. No wonder the four of them look like they’re ready to invade Poland." and gives them 4/5. OTOH, Pitchfork sums up with "...as doomed as Interpol's dalliances with heavy-handed, big-budget gestures on
Admire. Can they make an OK Computer or Closer? At this point, another Antics would suffice." Pitchfork scores them 6/10. As for me, Admire seems to have a permanent place in the car CD player at present and gets stronger with each listen.
